FS Starlet - "Starlet"

FS Starlet was originally purchased as an unstarted 14-yr-old to be Wildfire Arabians' first broodmare; however, after starting her under saddle it became clear that from a stellar pedigree of racing greats Starlet had acquired incredible power and athleticism. On the trail she is a fearless and steady leader, with a huge stride and endless stamina. At home she is sweet with her humans... but definitely the reigning queen in the paddock!
At the age of 16 Starlet completed her first 50 mile Endurance event, finishing with a spring in her step and ears perked; not surprising, as her half-brother MCM Last Dance won the coveted Best Condition/Haggin Cup award at the Tevis Cup at the age of 17! She also acts as a lesson horse, teaching novice students the absolute basics of riding in the ring and safely carrying them as they progress up to fast trail rides. Star has an uncanny ability to navigate new or overgrown trails and enjoys exploring new areas, particularly if it involves jumping trail obstacles!
Starlet has previously produced two correct and athletic Quarabs by a perlino stallion, both destined for endurance and dressage futures. Her 2009 buckskin daughter Wildfire Ember completed a 25 mile Set Speed competition and is currently owned by a local dressage and distance rider. In 2021 Starlet was sold to one of her long-time riders as her first horse, and Starlet continues to be a steady, trustworthy partner on the trails.
