Horse Training

Arabian horses were bred and used as fast, agile war horses. However, they were also bred to live and interact with their humans in a far more intimate manner than any other horse. The Wildfire Arabians do not act like pure horses; they seem to be part horse, part human. They are partners, not riding animals. They have been taught to achieve harmony with "their" humans and critically think out a situation alongside of them. When you listen, really listen, to your Arabian horse, it's amazing how much they already know... and how well you can "speak" their language.
This training philosophy has allowed Kelsa to start many young horses, mostly Arabs, over the past fifteen years. The horses experience a solid foundation of groundwork prior to advancing under saddle, using a combination of classical dressage and natural horsemanship styles. Calmly and rationally teaching a youngster how to understand human directions hones the inherent intelligence and curiosity of an Arabian horse, and provides them the tools to continue in life as respectful, interested, and personable companions.
