TR Prince Nari

After years of research and consideration, Wildfire Arabians made a final list of stringent criteria for a prospective herd sire: impeccable Old World bloodlines, a phenotype that would complement each of the Wildfire mares, the athleticism to do Endurance riding, and above all, a family-friendly personality. In all of North America, only a very few stallions met that criteria; and of these, only one stole our hearts even before we met him.
TR Prince Nari is a Straight Russian stallion from the renowned Taylor Ranch in Utah. Prince Nari's sire is the legendary Nariadni, the dark chesnut stallion bred at the Tersk Stud in Russia, who sired over 500 foals while competing in-hand and under saddle. Nariadni was brought to Taylor Ranch in the 1990s, where he became a cornerstone of their Straight Russian breeding program along with another legendary stallion - Muscat.
Prince Nari's dam was the beautiful HK Annie, a grey Muscat daughter bred by Arabian Horse Breeders Alliance Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Howie Kale. With legendary Old World names such as Salon, Negatiw, Priboj, Mammona, Skowronek, Aswan, Pomeranets, and Arax in his dam's pedigree, Prince Nari inherited both impeccable bloodlines as well as athleticism and beauty from HK Annie.
We may have purchased Prince Nari for his breeding and athletic potential, but the one thing we didn't know was whether he would be a good candidate for Endurance riding. He was started under saddle as a youngster, but was out to pasture for the majority of his life. So when he arrived at Wildfire Arabians, we were eager to re-start him and see how he fared on the trails. His nickname - "Pegasus" - says it all. Prince Nari took one look at the forest trails and set to work, using his big trot and flowy canter to eat up the miles. He is confident, powerful, and an adventurer at heart - he is always disappointed when we turn around for home! He happily leads or follows, and is equally content on solo rides. Combined with his very friendly and extremely curious nature, Prince Nari has absolutely endeared himself to all who meet him, and we couldn't be happier.
TR Prince Nari was euthanized in February 2020. A small comfort during a devastating time was the thought of the next generation of Wildfire horses. Prince Nari was bred to our gorgeous Fancie Footwork, who produced a gorgeous grey colt, Wildfire Legacy. Legacy was born in June 2020 and is incredibly athletic, sensitive, curious, and friendly... and absolutely a testament to both his incredible parents. He is a Pegasus just like his father, and absolutely epitomizes Prince Nari's phenomenal spirit and beauty.
